Every once in a while, some snarky reader will complain that, while my blog is replete with discussions of "international trade, public policy & politics" and even a good bit of "pop culture," it is seriously lacking in "robots, monkeys and pirates." Sadly, these complainers are quite correct, so please consider tonight's blog post a truly awesome attempt to make up for that:
